I currently study in Science College, the acclaimed best school in Brunei Darussalam. I take Computer Studies as my optional subject because the computer never ceases to amaze me. My father first introduced me to computers at the tender age of three, and the first game that I played (and still remember vividly) was Dig Dug.

I developed a keen interest in the internet at the age of eight and created my first webpage in 2001. A chain of events followed, and I learned HTML, CSS, PHP and mySQL along the way. I also learned to make graphics in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Fireworks to suit the various designs that I've made.

I also learned Flash due to several competitions that I've joined which required the usage of Flash knowledge to create a fully functional game. I learned to program with Action Script as well. Since then, I've created several websites that made use of Flash and ActionScript.

Education wise, I've opted for Computer Studies as my optional subject since reaching secondary school. I really enjoy doing the coursework projects for our examinations and I've never regretted taking Computer Studies. I aim to pursue Software Engineering in university.

Most of my coding and design skills are self-taught. I am willing to explore design possibilities to achieve a unique but satisfactory design. My motto is to "Go beyond horizons."

What used to host my blog has now become a portfolio and resource site. It is used for experimental purposes, such as various designs I've made as well as to experiment my competence in PHP and mySQL as the site is completely coded and powered by my own custom made CMS.

The domain name is simply my own name, only in it's Pinyin form. The favicon is the Chinese word for Chien, which means beautiful. With this I hope to create beautiful designs that are both accessible and SEO Friendly.
